Double Diamond Equestrian Center provides a monthly membership option for our riding school lesson program.
With this membership, DDEC will provide clients with access to horsemanship lessons, summer camps, barn schooling shows, students work programs, and a video library for instruction outside of the arena.
These services are exclusively for members only.
Depending on the age group and time of day, the riding lessons will either be a private, a semi-private, or a class.
RIDER ATTIRE AND FOOTWEAR:

Students are also not permitted to wear hats that may fly off while riding, dangling jewelry or rings that may impede the use of reins, or hoods that may impede visibility. All jackets must be zipped.
• All students must have their hair secured back and away from their faces. Long hair should be in a low ponytail that does not interfere with wearing a helmet.
• Students will also not be allowed to chew gum while working with horses on the ground or while riding.
• If any student is not dressed appropriately they will not be able to participate in the class.
Client must be coachable, positive, and have a good attitude!

HELMET POLICY:
• Helmets are required to be worn by every student under the age of 18 during all mounted activities. Equestrian helmets made to the current ASTM F1163 standard and certified by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) are considered to offer the best possible head protection for horseback riding activities. Students are required to purchase their own helmet.
Any unused credit will remain on the student's account will roll over to the next month. If client needs to change the credit card on file, you are welcome to update it on your account. Riders must agree to a 3 month minimum term. In order to make any meaningful progress in any sport- there must be a minimum commitment level.
Monthly tuition is still due in full even when student misses their lessons. In the event that the weather prevents riding- unmounted horsemanship lessons will be substituted. In the event that weather prevents the barn from being open- video analysis of your riding will be done via zoom at your regular riding time. The best way to get the most value out of the program is to make it a priority and a commitment not to miss your dedicated lesson time(s).
