High point accumulation:
High Point Divisions
There will be high point awards for each of the following divisions:
- In Hand High Point: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the 4 in-hand events.
- Level 1 High Point: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the 3 level one events.
- Level 2 High Point: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the 4 level two western events.
- Speed Event High Point: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the 3 speed events.
- English High Point: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the 4 english events.
- Horse Judging: Awarded to the contestant with the most points in the the 3 horse judging events.
- Versatility:
All-around awards are given to the rider who demonstrates proficiency in a range of disciplines. To be considered for all around, a contestant must compete in at least 2 in hand classes and 2 mounted classes. - Point Accumulation:
Competitors earn points in various events, and the rider with the most points in multiple categories will be the all-around champion.
Tie Breakers
- If there’s a tie for the High Point award, we have a tie-breaking system in place. That system is based on this following criteria:
- The highest number of first-place finishes.
- The total number of events entered.
- A special tiebreaker event.

Non-mounted Events
Level 2- Halter
Halter is a horse show in--hand event. Horses will be judged on presentation, and basic conformation. Handlers will be judged on presentation and control.
Level 2- Showmanship
A pattern class preformed in-hand. Handlers will be judged on execution of the pattern and their overall presentation.
In hand Trail Challenge
A trail pattern class performed in-hand. Handlers will be judged on execution of the pattern.

Level One
Disciplined Rail
In Western horse riding, "Disciplined Rail" or "Working Western Rail" classes test a horse and rider's ability to execute specific gaits, transitions, and movements as requested by a judge, focusing on the horse's natural self-carriage and ease of use.
Trail Pattern
In a trail pattern the horse and rider navigate a course of obstacles, judged on correctness, efficiency, and pattern accuracy, with a focus on horsemanship and teamwork.
Level Two and above
Lease Fee must be added if you are using
Double Diamond horses to compete on.

Ranch riding is a popular American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) show event that tests a horse's ability to perform a pattern of maneuvers, simulating a horse being used on a ranch, emphasizing versatility, attitude, and movement of a working horse.
Level 2- Hunter Under Saddle
English rail class. Judged on movement of the horse and equitation of the rider.
Hunter Over Fences
In hunter over fences, a horse and rider navigate a course of fences, with the focus on the horse's jumping form, style, and overall smoothness, rather than speed or height.
Equitation Pattern
An English pattern class which is judged on the execution of the pattern, equitation of the rider, and overall presentation.
Horse Judging
Horse Judging
Horse judging is the evaluation of a horse's conformation, performance, and other characteristics. Students who participate gain new insights into equine science by evaluating and ranking horses based on breed characteristics, conformation and performance.
Students will judge a halter class, a rail class, and a pattern class.
